Carlos Gomez and the Tampa Bay Rays take on Danny Duffy and the Kansas City Royals, and Duffy has had a rough go of things this season.

Over 25 starts and 143 1/3 innings pitched, Duffy has been rocked for a 4.76 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA), and righties have caused some major problems. In facing 528 right-handed batters this year, they have teed off on Duffy for a .347 wOBA, 11.2% walk rate, and 45.0% fly-ball rate.

While Gomez isn't the player he used to be, he has enjoyed some success against righties in 2018, including a 40.6% fly-ball rate. If you are looking for a cheap outfield pivot, peep Gomez.
