Don't look now, but is Michael Conforto finally starting to look like his old self?

Since the start of July, Conforto has posted a 48.2% hard-hit rate with a .360 wOBA and .197 ISO, and perhaps he's beginning to resemble the breakout star we witnessed in 2017. He's now homered in back-to-back games and faces one of this year's favorite stacking targets, Andrew Cashner.

Cashner has been objectively terrible in 2018, displaying a 5.01 SIERA, 16.6% strikeout rate, and 9.6% walk rate. Left-handed batters are producing a .377 xwOBA against him, and this looks like a prime spot for Conforto to keep up his ever-improving play, particularly in a venue known for dingers like Camden Yards.
