Bryce Harper, OF, Washington Nationals

Price: $4,300

Taking on struggling Cincinnati Reds righty Anthony DeSclafani, the Washington Nationals' 5.34 implied total is Friday's highest.

Through 10 Major League starts in 2018, DeSclafani's 4.26 SIERA is on pace to be a career-worst while the 48.4% hard-hit and 39.4% fly-ball rates he is allowing are particularly concerning.

Our sample shrinks to just 111 batters if we look at his splits against left-handers, but in that split, we see his numbers get even more heinous. He has given up a .409 wOBA with a 5.03 xFIP on a 48.2% hard-hit, 44.3% fly-ball and 11.1% soft-hit rate against left-handed sticks.

Bryce Harper has seen his production fall significantly this season, but he's still crushing baseballs against right-handed pitching with a 42.4% hard-hit, 11.3% soft-hit and 42.0% fly-ball rate. That contact has translated to a solid enough .365 wOBA and .280 ISO despite a very low .242 batting average on balls in play (BABIP).

His career-average BABIP against righties is .314, and with his 2018 contact numbers sitting well ahead of his career-averages, we can expect his production to pick up over the back half of the season.
