Tyler Flowers, C, Atlanta Braves

Price: $2,500

If the Braves beat up on Wei-Yin Chen early (which their slate-high 5.00 implied total suggests is likely) and he gets the hook, things will remain very promising for the Atlanta offense. The Marlins' relievers have the third-worst xFIP in the Majors, and as a group, they allow a top-six hard-hit rate, while they are one of only two 'pens with a single-digit strikeout-minus-walk rate.

Tyler Flowers has seen a dip in production this year, but he's also making some of the best contact of his career. He has a massive 51.0% hard-hit rate, which blows out his previous career-best of 43.8%, while his 14.3% soft-hit rate sits below his career-average.

Over a small 54-plate-appearance sample, he has been absolutely deadly against southpaws in 2018. He pairs a 53.6% hard-hit rate with a 3.6% soft-hit rate, which has earned him a .537 wOBA and .263 ISO. Those numbers will certainly come back down to earth, but there's plenty of room for that to happen and for his production to remain strong, especially in a matchup like this.
