Chris Davis, 1B, Baltimore Orioles

FanDuel Price: $2,200

Like a masochist, we're bringing up Chris Davis, owner of the worst wOBA in the league this season (.215).

But the price and matchup are right to take a chance, as Davis is showing some improvements since his 10-day hiatus in mid-June. Since then, he's posting a 41.7% hard-hit rate and 58.3% fly-ball rate against righties, leading to a .229 isolated power (ISO). It's a small sample size, but if Davis has managed to fix his swing, he's primed to take advantage of Lance Lynn.

Lynn has always struggled with lefties, and this year, he's allowing a .384 xwOBA to them with a 14.6% strikeout rate. You'll probably hate yourself a little bit, but this could be the proper time to try a cheap Davis as a one-off in tournaments.
