Bryce Harper has been a victim to a low batting average on balls in play (BABIP) this season. His career-average sits at .314, which comes on a 35.0% hard-hit rate and 14.6% soft-hit rate. He is sporting career-best marks in both hard-hit (41.0%) and soft-hit (11.3%) rate this season, but his .220 BABIP is on pace to be a career-worst by a wide margin.

This means that even if nothing changes about the way he's hitting, we should see Harper's fantasy production increase along with his respectable .352 wOBA and .260 ISO.

He clobbered right-handed pitching for a .442 wOBA and .332 ISO last year, so with a bounce-back likely on the horizon, he's easy to like tonight against Dan Straily and the Marlins. Straily has a 4.84 SIERA over 12 starts this season, and he's allowing a juicy .360 wOBA on a 46.7% hard-hit and 11.1% soft-hit rate to left-handed bats.
