Trey Mancini, OF, Baltimore Orioles

Often leading off for the Baltimore Orioles, second-year man Trey Mancini has shown solid pop this season with nine long balls after a 2017 campaign that saw him launch 24 round-trippers.

He's faced with a whole different ball game tonight. Max Scherzer takes the hill for the Washington Nationals, and he has absolutely wiped out same-sided batters in 2018 -- with a 45.0% strikeout rate, 1.65 xFIP, and 33.7% hard-hit rate in the split. Good luck squaring up Scherzer from the right-side of the plate.

In this split in 2018, Mancini hasn't been at his best, either. Over 198 plate appearances, he owns a .287 wOBA and 31.5% fly-ball rate.
