Gerardo Parra, OF, Colorado Rockies

Price: $2,500

Sal Romano has been especially bad against left-handed bats over his young career. Lefties have rocked him for a huge .405 wOBA and 5.57 xFIP on a 37.6% hard-hit rate this season. That brings his career-averages to a .366 wOBA, 5.01 xFIP and 37.5% hard-hit rate.

Gerardo Parra is another guy with uninspiring numbers overall, but he is at least capable against right-handed pitching. Over the last 2 years, Parra has turned in a .325 wOBA on a 32.8% hard-hit rate in 611 plate appearances against right-handed pitching.

He's certainly no world beater, but value is surprisingly thin tonight, compared to what we'd usually expect on a 10-game slate. And this matchup is enough to put Parra firmly in play at his price.
