The Cleveland Indians face struggling hurler Jake Odorizzi, and thanks to a tasty implied team total of 4.86 runs, Cleveland is likely to be popular. While he offers a cheap way to get exposure to the Indians, Melky Cabrera is one of the Cleveland sticks you may want to avoid.

The switch-hitting Cabrera has struggled from the left side of the plate recently. Dating back to the start of 2017, the outfielder sports a measly .309 wOBA, .122 isolated power (ISO), and 27.7% fly-ball rate over 529 plate appearances.

To make matters worse, Odorizzi has held lefty bats down over that same span. Covering 357 total batters faced, the righty has allowed a .301 wOBA and 31.2% hard-hit rate in the split.

Building a cheap stack of Indians in tournament play against Odorizzi is enticing, but it may be best to leave Cabrera out of the mix.
