Jacob deGrom is in a pricing tier of his own among pitchers tonight, but he's well worth paying up for.

His 34.3% strikeout rate is the highest among today's starters, while his 2.64 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) is the day's lowest. No other starter on the main slate has a strikeout rate above 26% or a SIERA below 3.30.

He also draws a great matchup, with the New York Mets sitting as the main slate's biggest favorites (-207 moneyline) and the Miami Marlins offering Wednesday's lowest implied total (2.91). The Marlins also rank 28th in wRC+ while striking out at a top-10 rate against right-handed pitching, and with both a strong floor and high ceiling, deGrom is an excellent play in all formats.
