Juan Soto, OF, Washington Nationals

FanDuel Price: $2,500

Following the news of his call-up to the big leagues, Juan Soto was the talk of the fantasy baseball world over the weekend, as season-long fantasy players across the industry scrambled to grab him. Well, he's making his much anticipated first MLB start on Monday, batting sixth against southpaw Robbie Erlin. Erlin has solid numbers out of the bullpen, but he floundered in his only start this year, allowing six runs (five earned ) in just 3 innings.

Of course, we have no idea how Soto will perform in his first go-round at the highest level, but at just $2,500, it might be worth taking a shot on him in tournaments to fill out your lineup. The lefty-lefty matchup isn't ideal, and Soto played a mere eight games in Double-A prior to his promotion, but he's crushed it at every level so far. He's posted a wOBA above .400 at every minor league level he's played in this season, and he is considered one of the top prospects in the game.

Maybe the 19-year-old proves to be too inexperienced for primetime, but as recent young talents like Ronald Acuna have shown, it might be wise to believe the hype -- particularly before the price goes up.
