Jose Ramirez, 3B, Cleveland Indians

After posting middling numbers for his first few Major League seasons, Jose Ramirez really picked up things in 2017, posting a .396 wOBA. He has followed that up with a .412 wOBA to open 2018, showing that last year was no fluke.

The switch-hitter is particularly good against right-handed hurlers, sporting a .401 wOBA and .282 ISO in the split since the start of the 2017 season. His matchup tonight is a great one as he'll be facing Mike Fiers.

Fiers struggled to the tune of a 4.52 SIERA in 2017, and he has a 4.57 SIERA to open 2018. Since the start of 2017, Fiers has been rocked by left-handed bats, allowing a .356 wOBA against them, and our models project Ramirez as the slate's top hitter.
