Luis Valbuena, 3B, Los Angeles Angels

On a night with both expensive pitching and a game at Coors Field, perhaps Luis Valbuena ends up garnering some ownership depending on how desperate people are to slash salary. But don't overlook him in his matchup against Lance Lynn despite a low spot in the batting order.

Lynn is historically tough as nails against right-handed bats, but that isn't the case against lefties. Over his career, Lynn owns just a 17.6% strikeout rate and 12.8% walk rate against batters with the platoon advantage, and has also coughed up a .346 wOBA. Throw in the fact that Lynn has posted just a 5.04 SIERA this year is icing on the cake.

Valbuena's high strikeout rate makes him susceptible to a goose egg, but he's produced a .341 wOBA and .237 ISO against right-handed pitchers over the last three seasons. Those numbers are pretty darn good coming from a guy who costs near the bare minimum.
