Aaron Altherr, OF, Philadelphia Phillies

Price: $2,400

Like Schoop, a large part of Aaron Altherr's shaky numbers to open the season can be attributed to the fact that he hasn't made many plate appearances against southpaws. His .356 wOBA and .263 isolated slugging (ISO) against lefties bring his averages to a .351 wOBA and .266 ISO in 148 plate appearances since the start of the 2017 season. That production has come on a terrific 40.6% hard-hit rate, too.

San Francisco Giants lefty Derek Holland is a particularly good fantasy matchup for a guy like Altherr.

The last two full seasons saw Holland finish with a SIERA north of 5.00, and even with a big improvement in 2018, his 4.31 is still not a scary mark for hitters. His 38.4% hard-hit rate in 2017 was a career-high, and he's on pace to top that with a 41.2% this year. Right-handed hitters have crushed him for a .395 wOBA and 5.70 xFIP since 2017, making this a great spot for Altherr to do some damage.
