Todd Frazier, 3B, New York Mets

The early offensive surge for the New York Mets has seen a precipitous decline in recent weeks, and so too has the bat of Todd Frazier, who sports a modest .233/.320/.373 slash line over his past 50 plate appearances.

But Frazier's underlying numbers don't show much drop-off at all, with the veteran infielder stinging the ball for 45.5% hard-contact rate over that span. The 32-year-old is clearly seeing the ball very well, as evidenced by his slender 20.9% chase rate on the season, contributing to what would be a career high 15.6% walk rate.

With the Mets squaring off against the dregs of the Cincinnati Reds and Philadelphia Phillies rotations this week, Frazier makes for an appealing mid-priced option.
