Scott Schebler, OF, Cincinnati Reds

FanDuel Price: $3,000

Jhoulys Chacin doesn't have the strongest peripherals entering Monday's contest with the Cincinnati Reds, showing a 5.28 SIERA, 14.1% strikeout rate, and 10.4% walk rate. If that wasn't enough, he's also coughed up a 39.6% hard-hit rate. Despite all the ugliness, he's generally solid against right-handed hitting, so the way to attack him is with lefties, against whom he's allowed a .339 wOBA dating back to 2016.

Given the excellent spot, Joey Votto is sure to be popular, but you can also look further down the order to Scott Schebler, who's quietly off to a strong start. Schebler missed time with an elbow injury, but otherwise he hasn't missed a beat, owning a 37.5% hard-hit rate and 37.5% fly-ball rate to go with a .391 wOBA and .239 isolated power (ISO). Most impressively, he's dropped his strikeout rate to 12.0%, which is well below his career mark (22.5%), while hanging near the top of the leaderboard in barrels per plate appearance.

It remains to be seen if all of this can stick for Schebler -- and he could stand to drop his 50.0% ground-ball rate -- but he showed nice pop last year in slugging 30 dingers. Given the low price and top-notch matchup, he's worth a look if you're stacking the Reds.
