J.D. Martinez, OF, Boston Red Sox

J.D. Martinez doesn't benefit today from platoon splits like Bryant does, but he's also no stranger to doing big work in righty-righty matchups. Going back to the beginning of 2017, he has a massive 49.5% hard-hit rate against right-handed pitching to go with a 13.6% soft-hit rate and 40.7% fly-ball rate. That has translated to a .406 wOBA and .337 isolated slugging in the split.

Martinez brings that production into a sweet matchup as he's taking on Royals righty Jason Hammel. Hammel finished 2017 with his worst SIERA (4.65) since 2011, and through five starts in 2018, he's on pace for an even worse 5.03 SIERA.

The Red Sox's 5.37 implied total is the slate's second-best clip, and Martinez should have little trouble generating some strong production in this matchup.
