With all 30 teams in action, and plenty of excellent hitting spots to choose from, let's not forget one of the more tried and true DFS strategies -- and that's use Nelson Cruz against lefties.

The Seattle Mariners aren't likely to be very popular against Mike Minor, but Minor has generally proven to be mediocre as a starter, and has only produced a 4.62 SIERA this year. Cruz's numbers against lefties weren't quite as awesome in 2017, but we should probably just chalk that up to small sample-size business. Dating back to the start of 2014, he's posted a stellar .414 wOBA and .291 isolated power against southpaws. He'll also seeing a park boost hitting at Globe Life Park in Texas.
