Matt Olson, 1B, Oakland Athletics

Price: $3,500

Matt Olson is another top-end bat who is priced nice and low, meaning you don't have to pay way up for your studs on Monday's slate.

Olson has not had a productive start to 2018, but with a 41.2% hard-hit rate and only a 5.9% soft-hit rate, we can expect things to turn around for the slugger. Last season he turned a 40.3% hard-hit rate and 17.8% soft-hit rate into a .411 wOBA and ridiculous .392 ISO. He was especially deadly against right-handed pitching, with his wOBA jumping to .439 and his ISO to .434 on a 43.3% hard-hit and 48.9% fly-ball rate.

Chicago White Sox righty Reynaldo Lopez represents a great matchup for Olson to get himself rolling this campaign.

Lopez has given up just 1 earned run in two starts this season, but with a 4.75 SIERA, 14.6% walk rate, 33.3% hard-hit rate and 46.7% fly-ball rate, he hasn't been pitching nearly as well as his ERA would suggest. Over three seasons in the majors, Lopez's SIERA sits at 4.90, while he has an awful 5.41 xFIP against left-handed hitters.

There is no chance Lopez's batting average on balls in play (BABIP) remains anywhere near his current .103 clip over any significant sample, and we can expect production against him to start pouring in very soon.
