The second-biggest favorites on Monday's 10-game main slate, the New York Mets are listed at -167 on the moneyline, while the Washington Nationals' 3.53 implied total is also the second-lowest. The Nats' offense is a good one, but deGrom's numbers are strong enough to overcome the less-than-stellar matchup.

Through three starts in 2018, deGrom boasts a 3.26 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) and 24.7% strikeout rate. Those marks are right in line with his career-averages over his first four major league seasons (3.31 SIERA and 26.6% strikeout rate).

He has topped 40 FanDuel points in two of his three starts this year (including one against Washington), and our models project him as the main slate's top pitcher.
