The Rangers are starting a shaky pitcher of their own in lefty Matt Moore. Moore has really struggled to start the 2018 season, which doesn't come as much of a surprise. He finished 2017 with a 4.86 SIERA -- the worst he hast posted in any major league season (minimum 3 games played), and he gave up a career-high 34.7% hard-hit rate. That rate is up to 51.9% with a 51.9% fly-ball rate and only an 11.1% soft-hit rate to start the 2018 season.

Jefry Marte is no killer from the dish, but he's off to a great start to 2018. Having gone 9-for-21, he has brought his career wOBA to .315 through 542 plate appearances to date. He has produced at a competent clip against southpaws over his career, with a .335 wOBA and .220 ISO, and with a price only $100 above the minimum in a great matchup, he's a great way to get cheap exposure to the high-powered Angels lineup.
