Stephen Strasburg, SP, Washington Nationals

FanDuel Price: $9,800

On a slate with so many stud pitchers, we are looking for reasons to avoid one of the aces so we can narrow down our list of plays. Stephen Strasburg has had a solid start to the season as he maintains a clean bill of health, but with so many people in cash games likely choosing between Chris Sale and Stras, the Washington Nationals' righty comes up second fiddle.

Atlanta's offense wasn't expected to be this good, at least not until Ronald Acuna gets the inevitable call-up. But these Braves don't care. Led by Freddie Freeman, who appears to be fully recovered from last season's wrist injury, Atlanta has hit right-handed pitching extremely well to start the year. They have just an 18.2% strikeout-rate against right-handers on the young season, and they combine that with a solid 9.9% walk rate.

This all translates to a .348 wOBA against right-handed pitching, the fourth-best clip in baseball. Strasburg is priced as if he is in an average matchup, but Atlanta has been hitting better than that. Stras is still an appealing GPP play because his 13.6% swinging-strike rate gives him upside, but if you're paying up at pitcher in cash games, there are other good-looking avenues you can take -- namely that Sale guy -- at the top-end of the pitching spectrum.
