Aaron Sanchez, P, Toronto Blue Jays

FanDuel Price: $6,200

We mentioned Aaron Sanchez as a wild card earlier, and that means he could also be a sneaky start at pitcher today.

Most of the time, we don't want to pay this far down at pitcher on FanDuel, but with no elite options out there, you can take on more risk without worrying about a guy like Chris Sale blowing your score out of the water. The current crop of White Sox posted a 24.8% strikeout rate against righties in 2017, and although Sanchez has never shown a stellar strikeout rate, by all accounts, the stuff is there for so much more. In his one full season as a starter in 2016, he provided a 3.00 ERA over 30 starts with a 20.4% strikeout rate and 54.4% ground-ball rate, so even without a big strikeout total, that version would get it done at this salary.

With only five games to choose from, the downside is there aren't as many places to spend the extra cash. But you'll guarantee an entirely different roster build in tournaments, which could go a long way if the chalk pitchers falter on a small slate.
