3 MLB FanDuel Studs to Target on 4/2/18

It wasn't a huge sample-size (59 games), but Matt Olson looked like a budding superstar in 2017. He went yard 24 times and drove in 45 runs, posting an elite .411 wOBA and massive .392 ISO on a 40.3% hard-hit and 46.0% fly-ball rate.

The sample is even smaller against righties (163 plate appearances), but he was lethal in that split, turning a 43.3% hard-hit rate into a .439 wOBA.

Almost twice Olson's age, the 44-year-old Bartolo Colon makes for a great matchup. Colon's 5.08 SIERA was the worst mark he has posted in 15 MLB seasons, and left-handed hitters crushed him for a .381 wOBA on a 41.3% hard-hit rate. At 44, it's hard to imagine Colon won't continue to show signs of decline, leaving a ton of room for upside in targeting sluggers against him this season.
