Carlos Correa, SS, Houston Astros

Price: $4,000

With the Washington Nationals no longer playing on Thursday, we have lost a few of opening day's top bats, and so we go back to Houston and their hefty implied total for this one.

Hamels' 2017 struggles were particularly pronounced against right-handed sticks, getting tagged for a .324 wOBA and 5.01 xFIP on a 37.9% hard-hit and 12.9% soft-hit rate by righties.

Carlos Correa was one of the league's most productive players in 2017, boasting a .394 wOBA and .235 isolated slugging while notching 24 home runs, 84 RBI's and 82 runs scored. He had an especially ridiculous .445 wOBA (good for eighth among players with at least 100 plate appearances) on a 43.2% hard-hit rate against southpaws.

He may not have the benefit of batting leadoff, but he will still be near the top of the order for what should be the day's most productive offense.
