Jordy Mercer, SS, Pittsburgh Pirates

FanDuel Price: $2,100

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

He's certainly not cheap at $4,000, but Jose Reyes is likely to be heavily owned. He's scored double-digit FanDuel points in seven of his last 10 games and gets a matchup against Dan Straily tonight.

Posting only a .304 wOBA this season, Jordy Mercer of the Pittsburgh Pirates could be a far less popular option up the middle.

Why You Should Use Him:

It hasn't been the strongest 2017 for Mercer and Pittsburgh, but Monday's matchup could perk things up for the time being.

He'll be facing left-hander Brent Suter, which is a situation that the shortstop has been solid in -- he's ripped lefties for a .164 ISO, 41.2% hard-hit rate, and 29.2% fly-ball rate. Meanwhile, Suter hasn't allowed many homers (seven), but virtually all of them have been surrendered to righties (six).

As for Suter, he's allowed six of his seven long balls to righties

On the year, Suter has allowed six of his seven long balls to righties, and for only $2,100, Mercer makes for a sneaky play.
