Jose Reyes, SS, New York Mets

FanDuel Price: $3,900

Jose Reyes has been on a roll lately, but his salary is starting to get out of control.

Since returning from the disabled list in late August, Reyes has produced an impressive .443 wOBA and .242 isolated power (ISO) over 80 plate appearances. Those numbers appear to be a bit fortuitous, however, as he's only managed a 29.3% hard-hit rate and .332 expected weighted on-base average (xwOBA) over that span. On the season, he's posted a .309 wOBA and .166 ISO, so it's difficult to see this recent surge continuing for long. His stolen bases certainly add some upside, but not enough to justify this price tag.

There are far better values at shortstop -- in particular, Corey Seager remains vastly underpriced at $2,900.
