Giancarlo Stanton is on pace to post career highs in both wOBA (.415) and ISO (.363) this season. No stranger to crushing baseballs -- he has a career 41.5% hard-hit rate -- he ranks 6th in average exit velocity among the 357 hitters with at least 10 batted balls over the past 15 days. His production has been down a bit in that time, but there's nothing to be concerned about, especially against Philadelphia Phillies righty Nick Pivetta.

Pivetta has a middling 4.37 SIERA through 22 games in his first big league season, and he's having trouble limiting hard contact. Opposing hitters have posted a 36.1% hard-hit rate against him this season, and that number jumps to 42.4% against right-handed hitters.

He has also allowed a huge .414 wOBA to righties, and numberFire's models project Stanton as the day's top-scoring fantasy hitter.
