Therefore, despite batting second with a minuscule salary, it's tough to get on board with Tyler Saladino tonight. Outside of his strong spot in the lineup, Saladino holds little upside, with just a 23.4% hard-hit rate and 0 home runs over 237 plate appearances.

Furthermore, since he's eligible at third base, he takes you off potential big bats like Nolan Arenado or Manny Machado. If you do want to pay down, Evan Longoria makes for a better cost-saver.
