Wilson Ramos, C, Tampa Bay Rays

FanDuel Price: $2,700

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Catcher can be a tough spot to fill, and tonight is no different. He's been a bit banged up recently, but Buster Posey will still be a popular play if he's in the lineup. It helps that he's facing Travis Wood, who has allowed righties to post a .364 wOBA against him, along with 2.40 homers per nine innings off a 49.3% fly-ball rate in August.

With only a .236 batting average and one hit in his last 12 at-bats, Wilson Ramos could be ignored.

Why You Should Use Him:

Ramos' platoon splits are pretty absurd, and with a lefty on the mound in Jason Vargas, it's time to dial him up in lineups, despite these recent struggles.

He's been awful without the platoon advantage, posting a 57 wRC+ and .612 OPS in 115 plate appearances against righties. But against southpaws, he's rocking a 113 wRC+ and .809 OPS in 41 plate appearances.

After a strong start Vargas is getting roasted in the second half -- in his last 39 innings of work, the lefty has coughed up 1.85 homers per nine innings and allowed a 42.2% hard-hit rate, helping lead to an unsightly 6.69 ERA.
