Mookie Betts is great and all, but tonight's spot against Marcus Stroman puts the clamps on his potential output.

Stroman may not flash an elite strikeout rate, but he makes up for it with an elite ground-ball rate, keeping the ball on the ground 62.2% of the time. The Boston Red Sox's 4.16 implied team total doesn't rank highly.

And while we shouldn't doubt Betts' prowess as a hitter, he's scuffled in the second half, posting just a .287 wOBA and 29.9% hard-hit rate. With a Coors game and other strong spots, even as a contrarian play, it's tough to back Betts.
