Jed Lowrie, 2B, Oakland Athletics

FanDuel Price: $3,500

Jed Lowrie has been a FanDuel favorite for much of 2017, typically staying low-priced despite being in the midst of a solid campaign.

But the salary is starting to creep up there, and his matchup against Andrew Heaney isn't as good as it may appear. Making his first major league appearances since undergoing Tommy John surgery, Heaney has a poor 8.10 ERA in two starts, but a 3.89 SIERA shows he hasn't pitched that poorly, and his velocity looks good. Heaney is no scrub -- a former top prospect, in 2015 he pitched to a strong 3.49 ERA over 18 starts. The Oakland Athletics have a modest 4.23 implied team total.

Lowrie also hasn't been as effective against southpaws, producing just a .320 wOBA this season. The under-priced Daniel Murphy is a better way to go at second base.
