There are some question marks around Max Scherzer tonight as he returns from a neck injury. But his bullpen sessions reportedly went well, and there's no word on any sort of limitations being placed on him tonight.

The injury means that he doesn't have enough innings in the second half of the season to qualify for the leaderboards, but his 36.4% strikeout rate and 15.4% swinging-strike rate since the break both rank second.

The Miami Marlins don't strike out against righties as much as the Yankees do, with the Marlins' 20.4% strikeout rate being a bottom-10 mark in the majors, but their 98 wRC+ is also significantly lower.

The Washington Nationals are the day's biggest favorites (-217 moneyline), and the Marlins' 3.29 implied total is the day's lowest.
