Jose Altuve, 2B, Houston Astros

This is by no means a knock on Jose Altuve, or the Houston Astros as a whole, who have a 5.08 implied team total against Tanner Roark. Their's is a good enough offense that there's nothing wrong with taking a stab in tournaments. Roark has struggled to a 5.45 SIERA over his last four starts, and has a 4.65 SIERA for the season.

But given the Astros' high pricing and the other spots on a packed slate, this isn't one of the most enticing matchups to get exposure to. Since the start of 2016, Roark has held his own against right-handed hitting, putting together a 21.6% strikeout rate, 54.6% ground-ball rate, and 21.9% hard-hit rate. Houston can send out its share of lefties, but its biggest boppers hit from the right side.

Instead, you're better off spending up on guys like Manny Machado, Anthony Rizzo, Kris Bryant, or Mike Trout, all of whom have better matchups.
