Howie Kendrick continues to be a cheap leadoff man for the Washington Nationals, but with value outfielders like Adam Lind and Rhys Hoskins available at cheaper salaries, you shouldn't have to go here tonight.

The banged up Nats have a lukewarm 4.07 implied team total against Luis Perdomo, who struggles with southpaws, but holds righties to a 67.8% ground-ball rate with a 3.37 xFIP.

Kendrick has also been notably better against lefties this season. Against righties, he's shown little upside with a 63.7% ground-ball rate and .292 expected weighted on-base average (xwOBA).
