The Washington Nationals' 5.17 implied total is Thursday's third-highest mark as they take on righty Dan Straily and the Miami Marlins.

Straily has shown some improvements this season, but he's still sporting a very shaky 4.31 SIERA.

Brian Goodwin offers a decent amount of value simply from the fact that he will likely be batting leadoff for one of the day's most well-positioned offenses, but he's also producing at a decent clip, with a .333 wOBA and .248 ISO, and he has also been making some very encouraging contact against righties this season, with a 33.8% hard-hit rate and 45.8% fly-ball rate.
