Starling Marte, OF, Pittsburgh Pirates

FanDuel Price: $3,000

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

After a rough June where he batted only .206, Michael Conforto has slowly been working his way back into form. Over his last five games, Conforto's posted 9.5-plus FanDuel points in four of those contests, and Coors Field certainly won't hamper his chances of continuing that streak this evening.

A lengthy suspension is never going to endear yourself to the hearts of owners, and Starling Marte's absence has surely not been forgotten. He will likely be low-owned tonight partly due to his .268 wOBA.

Why You Should Use Him:

This has probably been a season he'd like to forget, but from a DFS perspective, ignore Marte at your own peril.

Tonight, he'll face Sal Romano of the Cincinnati Reds, who's struggled to the tune of a 5.46 SIERA over 21 2/3 innings pitched. Righties have given Romano some problems -- in 52 plate appearances, they've notched a .397 wOBA against him.

It's been a very small sample size because of his suspension (123 plate appearances in 2017), but Marte has basically had all of his production at the plate come in this situation (-7 wRC+ against left-handers, 90 wRC+ against right-handers), and his numbers have improved when he's facing right-handers at PNC Park (104 wRC+).
