Sale's matchup tonight is a bit tougher than Scherzer's as the Cleveland Indians have a very low 16.6% strikeout rate and a 106 wRC+ against southpaws.

Sale has been absolutely dominant this season, though, ranking first among qualifying pitchers in both SIERA (2.49) and strikeout rate (36.7%) as well as third in swinging-strike rate (15.8%).

He has at least 11 strikeouts in four of his last five starts, allowing zero earned runs in four of those, and he has fanned double-digit batters in 13 of his 21 starts in 2017.

Cleveland's 3.61 implied total is Tuesday's second-lowest mark. numberFire's models project Sale for the day's highest strikeout total while having him tied with Scherzer for the day's top fantasy score.
