At 3.00, the San Francisco Giants have the slate's lowest implied total, and it's currently 0.90 runs fewer than any other team. That alone should scare us off most their sticks.

Whenever San Fran is facing a lefty, Brandon Belt has some contrarian appeal due to his ability to fare pretty well in lefty-lefty clashes. For the season, he owns a .307 wOBA, 31.8% hard-hit rate and 40.9% fly-ball rate against same-sided hurlers.

This isn't the night to play that hand, though, as Alex Wood is lights out versus left-handed hitters. He's limiting them to a .260 wOBA and 14.0% hard-hit rate. Overall, Wood has put up a single-game swinging-strike rate of at least 13.8% in four of his last five starts, and he's pitched to a 3.08 SIERA in 2017.
