The Chicago Cubs' huge 5.96 implied total is more than a full run higher than any other team on Thursday's main slate as they take on Chicago White Sox righty Mike Pelfrey,

Pelfrey is on pace for the second-worst SIERA of his 12-year major league career (5.46), and this is shaping up to be his third time in the last four seasons that he finishes with a SIERA worse than 5.00.

Kris Bryant doesn't do his best work against right-handed pitching, but he has still tagged righties for a .374 and .231 isolated slugging (ISO) in 2017, and those numbers are more than strong enough to make him a terrific play in a matchup this good.
