Ryan Braun, OF, Milwaukee Brewers

Price: $4,300

Washington Nationals lefty Gio Gonzalez hasn't been pitching nearly as well this season as his 2.83 ERA may indicate, and his 4.49 SIERA is actually on pace to be his worst mark since his 2008 rookie campaign, while his 30.7% hard-hit rate is above his career-average. He's benefiting in a big way from a .252 BABIP, which is unlikely to stay nearly that low while he's coming off of two straight seasons with a BABIP above .315 and he sports a .294 career-average.

Ryan Braun has crushed southpaws for a .443 wBOA and .286 on an outstanding 54.1% hard-hit rate through 51 plate appearances (a small sample, but one that looks a lot like the .417 wOBA he tagged lefties for in 2016), and this matchup with Gonzalez shouldn't be enough to scare you away from him at this price-point.
