Yonder Alonso has been great for the Oakland Athletics this season, with his .378 wOBA on pace to be his best since 2011, while his .274 isolated slugging (ISO) is on pace to be a career high.

His numbers against right-handed pitching have been particularly impressive (.394 wOBA and .279 ISO), and that positions him well against Toronto Blue Jays righty Cesar Valdez who will be making his eighth appearance (and second start) of the season. He's posted a 4.79 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) so far, bringing his career average to an uninspiring 4.61.
