A lot of New York Mets, including All-Star Michael Conforto, have some enticing prices tonight to go with a reasonable 4.30 implied team total. Their matchup is less enticing, however.

Jon Gray only has five starts on the year, so the numbers don't necessarily jump off the page. But since his return from the DL, through two starts he's struck out 15 batters in 11 2/3 innings -- good for a 28.3% strikeout rate. In 29 starts last season, he put up a 3.72 SIERA and punched out 26.0% of batters he faced.

Conforto is in the midst of an excellent season, but he still struggles with strikeouts (24.5% rate), and even more so over the last 30 days (30.0% rate). It's best to wait before rolling him back out for the second half.
