Aaron Judge has been absolutely ridiculous to start the 2017 season. Through 84 games he has managed a .466 wOBA and .362 isolated slugging (ISO) on a 49.0% hard-hit rate.

His StatCast numbers are also absurd, and among hitters with at least 30 batted ball events before the All-Star break he ranks first in average exit velocity, 17th in average batted-ball distance, has 8 more barrels than any other player, and has a barrel on the second-highest percentage of his plate appearances.

He draws a tasty matchup tonight against Boston Red Sox southpaw Drew Pomeranz, who has a middling 3.93 SIERA through 17 games this year, with a 4.04 xFIP and 31.3% hard-hit rate against right-handed bats.
