The Washington Nationals have a strong 5.15 implied total tonight as they host the Chicago Cubs and righty Eddie Butler.

Butler has been egregious through eight games this season and is posting a 5.77 SIERA with a 12.7% walk rate. Poor pitching like that is nothing new for the 26-year-old, who has a career 5.20 SIERA in 44 games at the big league level.

A righty can't bring those numbers into a matchup with Bryce Harper and expect much other than disaster, as Harper has beaten up on right-handed pitching for a .440 wOBA on a 34.2% hard-hit rate, 12.8% soft-hit rate, and 41.6% fly-ball rate on the year.
