Scooter Gennett, 2B, Cincinnati Reds

FanDuel Price: $2,400

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Even with a Coors Field slate on tap, the Cleveland Indians currently sport the highest implied team total of the day at 5.88 runs, and Jason Kipnis is going to be a big part of that equation. Popping another home run yesterday, Kipnis could be the chalky play at the position.

Without being locked into consistent playing time, Scooter Gennett can be a bit tricky to roster. With only 155 plate appearances to his name thanks to the timeshare, he will probably be overlooked, despite bashing another jack on Monday.

Why You Should Use Him:

When Gennett plays, he has been an absolute beast this season for the Cincinnati Reds, racking up a .381 wOBA. He has compiled his best work against right-handed pitching, sporting a 131 wRC+ against them this year, and he will try to continue to do damage tonight against Alex Cobb.

Cobb could be in for a long night as he's posted a 5.07 xFIP against left-handed batters, and he's also surrendering a 42.2% hard-hit rate and 37.0% fly-ball rate to lefties.

Power is not a problem for Gennett, and he may be in line for another big game at a cheap price.
