Seth Smith, OF, Baltimore Orioles

FanDuel Price: $3,100

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

The Washington Nationals should do some damage tonight against Alec Asher of the Baltimore Orioles as their implied team total of 5.18 certainly suggest there's some runs to be had. Bryce Harper, who has posted a cool .414 wOBA on the season, is sure to be among several popular Nats.

Mired in the busy side of a platoon but with only 145 plate appearances under his belt, Seth Smith is often a little-owned option. Facing Joe Ross of the Nationals, the Orioles have one of the lower implied team totals of the night at 4.32 runs.

Why You Should Use Him:

When Smith makes his way onto the field, he's usually been pretty productive -- it's just finding playing time that's been the problem.

Smith has socked two homers in his last five games, and he's posted at least 18.0 FanDuel points in three of his last five contests.

Ross, meanwhile, has struggled so far this season. While he's only recorded 30 2/3 innings pitched due to injury, he's allowed 2.64 home runs per nine. Left-handed hitters have given Ross a lot of problems, logging a .431 wOBA against him.

Smith provides a nice somewhat-cheap option who should be in a nice spot in the lineup with strong platoon splits to his advantage. Keep an eye out for him if he makes his way into the Orioles lineup.
