Carlos Beltran, OF, Houston Astros

Another player who's received a recent price hike is Carlos Beltran, who has hit four of his eight home runs in the past ten days.

He has a .411 wOBA in that span, but doesn't have the eye-popping hard-hit rate you might expect (33.3%), and is hitting the ball on the ground a lot (48.5%). His 86.4 mph average exit velocity doesn't jump off the page either.

And despite his recent success, he still has just a .310 wOBA and 28.5% hard-hit rate this season. Batting fifth doesn't give him any added value either.

The Houston Astros are great plays against Jason Hammel, but outside of stacks, Beltran doesn't look like he's worth the price.
