Carlos Correa, SS, Houston Astros

Carlos Correa has been one of the better hitting shortstops in the majors since he joined the Houston Astros in 2015, but he's turned it up this year, with a career-high .391 wOBA, while his 40.7% hard-hit rate and 14.2% soft-hit rate are both on pace to be career-bests.

He draws a solid matchup tonight against Kansas City Royals southpaw Jason Vargas who, despite a 2.08 ERA that looks great on the surface, hasn't been pitching especially well. He owns a 4.29 SIERA (not much better than his 4.48 career-average), and has allowed a 32.5% hard-hit rate, 44.7% fly-ball rate and 4.23 xFIP to right-handed hitters.
