On the other side of that Reds/Braves game that I touched on for Adams, Cincinnati has Friday's highest implied total (5.14) in a matchup with right-hander Mike Foltynewicz.

Foltynewicz has opened 2017 with a 4.37 SIERA, bringing his career-average to 4.23. Left-handed bats have beaten up on him to the tune of a .379 wOBA and 5.23 xFIP.

Scooter Gennett has had a surprisingly solid start to the year from the dish, with a .352 wOBA, and he's making some solid contact as well. He owns a 33.3% hard-hit rate, his best since his rookie year, and only an 11.1% soft-hit rate.
